Thank you to our community and all who participated in the 12th Annual Holiday Trees Celebration at Hotel Bellwether in December 2023! With the support of our local participating businesses who sponsored & festively decorated trees to all who donated & voted for their favorite tree, together we raised $11,808 for Skookum Kids. This volunteer-staffed facility, provides crucial care and support for children entering or transitioning into foster care.

After thousands of votes were tabulated, the local business who received the most votes for “Favorite Tree” was West-Lind Construction Management (WLCM)! Congratulations and we loved your beautiful “Let it Snow” themed tree. As the winner, WLCM receives a Wine Pairing Dinner for six in our magical Wine Cellar. Honorable mentions for favorite tree included Whatcom Humane Society who came in at 2nd Place and Cross Country Mortgage who came in at 3rd Place.
All those who donated and voted for their favorite tree were entered to win an overnight stay in Hotel Bellwether’s iconic three-story Lighthouse Suite, noted by King 5 Evening Magazine as the most scenic lodging destination in the Pacific Northwest. Congratulations to winner Kristin Albright!
