Join us for a a magical evening filled with love and music in the beautiful Hotel Bellwether Ballroom. Indulge in a multi-course dinner prepared by Bellwether’s Executive Chef & culinary team. Each course is paired with love songs by the Bellingham Symphony Orchestra Strings Trio creating a symphony of flavors.
First Course – A salad with a kick
Thought to be about a girl he was dating, it bears the subhead, “My girlfriend is cross with me.” Back in 1882, it must have been regarded with amusement when it was first heard in Munich at a Pschorr family concert at the home of Strauss’ mother’s relations.
Main Course – A star-crossed pairing
This trio was composed shortly after Schubert realized he was unable to marry the girl he fell in love with.
Dessert – The grand finale
A hugely romantic trio that shows Brahms’ influence.
