Thank you to our community and all who participated in the 14th Annual Holiday Trees Celebration at Hotel Bellwether in December 2025! With the support of our local participating businesses who sponsored & festively decorated trees to all who donated & voted for their favorite tree, together we raised $15,000 for Skookum Kids. This volunteer-staffed facility, provides crucial care and support for children entering or transitioning into foster care.

After hundreds of votes were tabulated, the local business who received the most votes for “Favorite Tree” was JH Kelly! Congratulations — we absolutely loved your beautiful “Ode to the PNW” themed tree. As the winner, JH Kelly receives a Wine Pairing Dinner for six in our magical Wine Cellar. Honorable mentions for favorite tree included Ram Construction who came in at 2nd Place and Bellingham Bells who came in at 3rd Place.
All those who donated and voted for their favorite tree were entered to win an overnight stay in Hotel Bellwether’s iconic three-story Lighthouse Suite, noted by King 5 Evening Magazine as the most scenic lodging destination in the Pacific Northwest. Congratulations to winner Susanne Hancock!
